many different kinds of people with a wide array of issues which have resulted in them ending up homeless.
There is a less obvious segment of the homeless population though, which often goes under the radar -

the victims of domestic violence, who literally had to leave their homes to escape the abuse there - where do you go if you have no one and it isn't safe to go home?
